Our apartment is located directly on the Mulde cycle trail of the Zwickau Mulde valley.
NNorth
In the north you will find the “valley of castles”. In the direct vicinity there is the village Remse and Waldenburg with its park called
“Grünfelder Park”, the castle, the natural history collection and several potteries. If you carry on, you will get to
Wolkenburg, Penig, Rochsburg, Wechselburg Rochlitz and Kolditz.
SSouth
In the south you will get to Zwickau with its nice inner city like for example the cathedral,
“August Horch Museum” and many other cultural attractions. If you continue on the road called “Silberstraße”
through the “Erzgebirge”, you will get to the mountain Fichtelberg.
EEast
In the direction of east, you will get through the valley called “Lungwitztal” to the city Hohenstein-Ernsthal.
There you will find the racing and the textile museum as well as the Karl-May meeting place. Further, you will get to the city Chemnitz.
WWest
In the west there is the town Meerane, the federal state boundary of Thuringia and further away the district of Altenburger Land.
In the town Altenburg you will find among others the theatre and the castle and playing cards museum.
